Ultimate Health has declared that it wishes to be part of the solution to the planet's demise - not part of the problem.

Accordingly we have spent considerable time and effort associating with organizations which are contributing to the repair of the earth.

What is in need of repair?

By our constant striving for greater and greater production we have, over the last 70 years, almost destroyed our environment with chemical intervention.

Our soils have been pumped so full of artificial fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides that many of the necessary building blocks of life - namely minerals - have been locked up and unavailable to the plants and hence the animals.

The result has been mineral deficient plants, overstressed and mal nourished animals and sick people.

In spite of the countless billions of dollars spent on pharmaceutical intervention there are proportionately more people contracting such diseases as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, candida and colds and flu than 50 years ago. Our life expectancy is purported to be greater but this is due mainly to a drug controlled final few years and much lower child mortality than a more healthy population.

However time has now moved on and it is time to pass this to others to do. Thus we have now relinquished our supply of soil and plant supplements to others.

* We seek to then educate the young to nurture their own good health through the consumption of pure fresh water, wholesome food, healthy exercise and a happy stress free environment.

Stafford Lowe

After spending 22 years in the Royal Australian Navy as an aeronautical engineer and Helicopter Test Pilot Stafford branched out into a life of commerce interspersed with commercial flying.

It was during this period of growth that he particularly noted the shift in the eating and drinking habits of much of the population of Australia and indeed much of the western world.

He then began to research other cultures and lifestyle. May be also it was absolutely vital for good health for our food to be as varied as possible with as many different ingredients included in the diet to keep the body in balance. Could it be that the Ancient Chinese or Indians were right when they observed the effects of different foods on different body types over thousands of years of recorded observation to create what is now known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurvedic Medicine?

He firmly believes that nutrition has been the forgotten link in the good health of our nation and that wholefood nutrition is, in fact, the vital link.

Nicola Lowe

This statement encapsulates the thoughts of Nicola, the third member of the Lowe family in the Ultimate Health team.

Nicola is a natural health practitioner with 15 years experience. She graduated from the NSW College of Natural Therapies. From here she travelled extensively, and then undertook naturopathic studies at Nature Care College, graduating in 1992 with the following qualifications - ND, (dip.Hom., Dip Bot. Med., Dip. Nut.) D.R.M., D.O.M She has a naturopathic and massage clinic in Avalon, NSW.

James Liu

James was born in Taiwan and following a normal education spent 15 years studying with a famous Chinese Qi Gong Master. This 'apprenticeship' led him to an understanding of the Traditional Chinese philosophy of a balanced mind and a balanced body being the essence to good health and longevity. Throughout these years he studied Traditional Chinese Herbs and learnt the Yin/Yang essence of all the plants, animals and other food stuffs used in traditional Chinese cuisine.

He later developed a series of wholefood supplements which have taken over 10 years of research to produce. Over 100 natural plants, vegetables and other foods were chosen from thousands of eastern and western food sources to formulate the products. Using the latest technology and production methods, precise and balanced mixing methods were achieved to produce convenient, simple, delicious and easily consumed food supplements

Maggie Lowe

Maggie is a qualified yoga teacher and holds a certificate in Permaculture Design. For many years she has been involved in growing herbs and vegetables and the study of the beneficial effects of herbs for medicinal and culinary purposes.

Being a child of the early 1940's and brought up on a free range poultry farm in suburban Melbourne she experienced the benefits of parents who believed in whole organic and unadulterated food and drinks.

The dietary discipline of these early years has been maintained and is evidenced by wonderful good health in her middle years. Working with her husband, Stafford, she has actively promoted the benefits of whole food supplements and oxygen supplementation to many hundreds of good folk who have benefited from them. Of course, many other people have similar ideas on health and are perhaps better able to develop and manufacture or prepare the wholefood, mineral and oxygen supplements which are the mainstay of the Ultimate Health range. It is with these people that Maggie has been working to source the products that are now offered.
